Christmas Market at Nottingham Castle

Join us for two magical days of festive fun at Nottingham's Christmas Market!

This year, we're making it bigger and better than ever before, with over 70 stalls, more entertainment, and plenty of activities for the whole family. Best of all, it's set against the stunning backdrop of Nottingham Castle, creating a truly special experience.

What to expect:

• More stalls than before: The grounds will be full of over 70 stalls from our incredible local businesses. From unique, handcrafted gifts to delicious seasonal treats, our expanded market will have something for everyone. Perfect for finding that special Christmas gift or enjoying a festive bite. • Plus, this year, don’t miss the Makers Marquee, featuring over 25 talented traders. Click here to explore even more shopping options!
• Free family entertainment: Keep the little ones engaged with a variety of free activities throughout the event! Enjoy interactive performances featuring Mary Christmas, Lairy Xmas Fairy, and Magic Christmas Puddings. There will also be free face painting, and performances by Betty Twinkle, and a delightful carousel.
• Savour delicious food and drink: Cosy up by the bandstand with a steaming hot chocolate or a glass of mulled wine while savouring delicious bites from Bah Bah Mezze, Big Melt Cheese, Colombo Street, MemSaab, Theo's Kitchen, and Power to the Poutine. Indulge in sweet treats from The Pudding Pantry, Cheeky Pancakes, and Nuno Coffee. Don’t forget to grab a refreshing pint from Castle Rock Brewery or a crisp cider from the Thirsty Farmer!
• Live Entertainment: Indulge in delicious food while enjoying an exciting lineup of live music and family-friendly entertainment. Join us for the community carol sing-along around the bandstand at 6pm, and be captivated by vibrant Morris dancing performances throughout the day!
  

🎟 Entry to the market is just £1 per person*, including access to the Castle too!

Tickets are available to purchase here - be sure to grab yours early!

*IMPORTANT: £1 tickets are only available via the website, for pre-booking. The entry fee is the same for everyone (including children and Nottingham Castle annual pass holders), and there are no concessions.

Please note There are no £1 walk-in tickets this year. Nottingham Castle will charge on-the-day entry at the regular general admission rate of £15!

A quick reminder - ticket holders will need to arrive during their chosen time slot, but feel free to stay and enjoy the event until closing. Just keep in mind that if you arrive outside of your time slot, we can't guarantee entry due to capacity limits at the Castle.

Last admission will be 5pm on Saturday 30 November and 3pm on Sunday 1 December 2024.

Please be aware that the museum closes at 6pm on Saturdays and 4pm on Sundays.
