For a true taste of authentic Nottingham history, tucked away around the corner on Rutland Street, is St. James Hotel. One of our Grade II listed buildings is now a beautifully restored boutique hotel, the luxury of which Maid Marian could have only dreamed of.

The sumptuous rooms rich in décor take you back to the time between Nottingham Castle being built by the Normans and the Industrial Revolution. When the lace industry flourished and the Old Market Square was the centre point between the Norman and Anglo-Saxon halves of the city - once divided by a wall.

Hart's Hotel

Another one of Nottingham’s established unique experience hotels is Hart’s Hotel, situated in a quieter part of the city. Set in the vale of Nottingham Castle, it’s a top location for exploring Nottingham’s heritage.

Hart’s high vantage point affords guests spectacular city views across the city. Choose a room overlooking the cool courtyard or a garden room with its own terrace out to the secluded garden, a space to relax from sunrise to sunset. Leonardo Hotel

Fresh and innovative with a finger firmly on the pulse, our creative city has its roots in industry and its shoots enthusiastically reaching out for what’s new. On the east side, Leonardo Hotels took a great hotel and made it better. Formerly Jurys Inn, it couldn’t be more convenient for the train station, plus events at the Motorpoint Arena.

The building cuts an elegant slice out of the sky, with over two hundred and fifty rooms, it’s one of Nottingham’s larger hotels. Sky blue and citrus fresh, the modern makeover creates a summer feel all year round, and they have many high-spec rooms designed to accommodate wheelchair users. ibis Hotel

Further into the city, Nottingham boasts an excellent Ibis Hotel – it’s all about location for this one. A large modern build in the historic Lace Market hub, it’s a hotspot for the trendier part of town. Both family and budget-friendly, there is everything you need on-site to ensure your stay is star quality – take advantage of the discounted parking just across the road.

You are now central to Nottingham’s excellent food and drink emporium. Step out for the evening, head left towards Old Market Square or right into Hockley to sample some of the cosmopolitan culinary options on offer. Try Fat Hippo for a juicy burger meal or Barburrito for fresh nachos before your night out.

Mercure Hotel

For a heritage hotel experience just a short walk away, discover the Mercure Hotel – a central accommodation set in a nineteenth-century Georgian building. Lace Market Hotel

The ultimate in luxury accommodation, secreted in one of the smart Georgian townhouses on High Pavement once occupied by lace merchants and then later a lace mill, the Lace Market Hotel is described as an ‘urban oasis’. Their contemporary rooms with designer touches are as generous in size as they are in delightful detailing.

If you like your king-sized bed positioned under the dazzle of a crystal chandelier then decadence can certainly be found here. A long hot soak in one of their roll-topped baths is guaranteed to ease your cares away. One of the top venues for a traditional afternoon tea, their cosy pub Cock and Hoop, also serves a satisfying Sunday lunch.
